For the release of the Tupac Biopic, I was commissioned by Vibe Magazine to photograph Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Tupac Shakur. The assignment for the shoot was to recreate some of Tupac’s iconic Vibe Magazine covers. We did the shoot in Los Angeles in a studio and I decided to shoot in digital and film to get the retro look.
